{"id":1381,"date":"2013-06-23T13:06:09","date_gmt":"2013-06-23T19:06:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/amroha.co.in\/blog\/?p=1381"},"modified":"2013-06-23T13:22:47","modified_gmt":"2013-06-23T19:22:47","slug":"curious-rice-masterpiece-from-amroha","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.amroha.co.in\/blog\/curious-rice-masterpiece-from-amroha\/","title":{"rendered":"Curious Rice &#8211; Masterpiece from Amroha"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On request from Mr. Hasan Nazar Naqvi we would like to share some amazing portraits\u00a0on small piece of rice by\u00a0Late Mr. Mohammed Ahmed created in 1930s<\/p>\n<p>Below are the images of rice on which following portraits are \u00a0inscribed\u00a0along with the colored portrait of Jesus Christ on small piece of rice.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Jesus Christ \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0&#8211; \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 9.11.1936<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/George_V\" title=\"King George V\" target=\"_blank\">King George V<\/a> \u00a0 &#8211;\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 5.5.1935<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Sir_Lancelot_Graham\" title=\"Sir Lancelot Graham\" target=\"_blank\">SIR Lancelot Graham<\/a> (Governor of Sind from 1936 to 1941)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The above mentioned portraits are engraved on several pieces of rice skillfully and artistically by Late Mr. Mohammed Ahmed in 1930s.<\/p>\n<p>There are many other \u00a0rice pieces which have some unidentified portraits painted over them.
